Dusk on the Elwood Mesa

So I'm doing this sketch, facing south-southwest... sketch of eucalyptus trees along the edge of the cliff on the Ellwood Mesa

A woman walks by and says: "It's better if you look in the other direction", and I turn around and see this: Dusk on the Elwood Mesa image Or what soon turned into the above, meaning it took me a couple of minutes to get my camera out and start shooting.
